Notary support sits alongside screening coordination, hiring operations, and documentation work—it does not replace any of them.
The client or the receiving organization determines whether a document requires notarization. Northland does not make legal determinations on a client's behalf.
Where a notarial act is required and available, we coordinate the appointment and prepare the signer so the surrounding workflow does not stall.
Notary services may be available as an add-on where applicable and when performed by a duly commissioned notary.
What to expect
A coordinated, four-step request

Northland confirms whether an appropriately commissioned notary and a suitable appointment format are available.

Not a background check
A notarial act says nothing about a person's history or record.
Not credential verification
Notarization does not establish a professional license or confirm a credential.
Not legal review
A notary does not assess whether a document is legally sufficient or appropriate for its purpose.
Form I-9 is not notarized
If an employer designates a notary public as its authorized representative for I-9 purposes, that is a separate, non-notarial role, and no notary seal should be placed on Form I-9.
Remote online notarization is not advertised here. Where it is requested, availability depends on the applicable authorization held by the person performing the act and on the supporting service workflow. Availability will be confirmed during your inquiry.
